Golf Exercises

Golf muscles need flexibility and strength more than bulk. Make sure not to sacrifice one for the other when completing your golf training aid workouts.

There is a big difference in warming up prior to playing as opposed to improving your flexibility through long term planning. Warming up before playing makes good sense but increasing your flexibility is a longer term commitment.

Squats
Improve your base by having strong legs to allow a full turn around your spine angle.
Forearm curls
To control the club through the downswing (don't overdo this!)
Weighted club
Use a weighted club with proper posture to increase lower back strength and timing.

Speed and flexibility need to be the most critical thought in mind when planning your golf fitness workout.

Where do you get sore after walking 18? Those areas should be the first places you improve your strength and flexibility.
